Claridge is a One-Stop engineering company offering presswork up to
100 tonnes, welded fabrications, sheet metal work, tube manipulation
and in house powder coating. We serve a continuously growing customer
base covering automotive, electronics, point of sale, the seal
industry and the rubber to metal bonding trade, and currently
export to the USA, France, Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Working
out of our 10,000ft2 building in Reading for nearly 20 years,
our One-Stop approach offers competitive pricing and shorter
lead times, with the added benefit that we have total control
of our customers orders, ensuring quality throughout all the
processes.
Total
Quality Management
We operate to the working ethos of Total Quality Management using techniques
such as SPC to improve service levels and FMEA to predict production failure
and carry
out preventitive actions. The sum total of this is a predictable and reliable
level of quality.
Aim
The main aim of Claridge is to provide 100% delivery performance on short lead
times. We offer a full project management approach to contracts and a One-Stop shop service from contract review through to delivery with full supply chain
solutions and project management for multi-stage contracts. In short we aim
to provide a superior service.
Workforce
Claridge employs approximately 30 staff including engineers and office personnel.
Our workforce is a mix of fully time served engineers and apprentice trainees
which gives us the high end skill sets required to produce top quality work
as well as the green shoots to support tomorrows staff requirements.
Management
We operate a direct management structure which means that you don't have to go
through tiers is bureaucracy in order to find answers to your production
queries
and that you can be sure of an adaptable service and a quick response.
